Men’s Ministry meets the third Saturday of each month. Members gather at a specified location and enjoy fellowship, a meal (typically breakfast), and then we dive into the word of God and allow the Holy Spirit to guide our open format. A member may have a specific question or issue and sometimes that is the platform that we use to launch our open discussions. Currently our membership ranges from 8 years old to 90 years old. Relying on the Holy Spirit’s guidance all members are enlightened during the fellowship.

Women’s Ministry meets the third Saturday of each month. Women gather at a specified location (usually the church) and enjoy fellowship with one another over a meal, generally a light breakfast. Then a mini lesson and discussion takes place. The Holy Spirit is sought for guidance during this time as He leads the discussion the way He desires and participants in the women’s meeting get the awesome benefit of revelation from the Holy Spirit in their lives as well as share revelation that they have received. This ministry is designed to allow the ladies of the church to get to know one another better, which doesn’t take place during our regular Sunday morning worship.

CEM's Music Ministry is comprised of an 11 member Praise and Worship Team; led by Mr. Kevin Hart consisting of singers and musicians. Our Praise Team plays a variety praise and worship music from older style hymns to contemporary.

In addition to live music we have a well stocked library full of worship videos.

We are planning on expanding our music ministry by adding a youth choir/praise team in the future.

We’re taking the Good News to the streets! We are a ministry of demonstration through the power and gifts of the Holy Spirit. We are united with one purpose and destiny: To see the salvation of Jesus Christ sweep through Hagerstown, Maryland and across the globe! We will see salvation spread throughout the Nations.

Teaching children up to 12 years of age about Jesus and how much Jesus loves them. Our children are placed in an appropriate classroom based on their age. Ms. Dorothy Woods and staff are equipped with God’s Word and strive to instill it in our children. These teachers are faithful and dedicated to God’s work as well as you children. Class time includes story time, Bible verse memorization, special activities, prayer, and song time too. During the course of the year the children are honored with a party of special activity.

Brian and Nancy Blank are leading a generation of youth at CEM that will not leave this world the same way that they entered it. They are determined to change this world, and the lives of the people in it. They are a generation who are not afraid to take a stand for Jesus. They spread his name, not only through words but also through acts of love and kindness. They are a generation on the move, carrying the Good News everywhere they go. They are the future. Even though at times their future does not always look bright, as children of God they are not moved by what they see, hear, or feel, but only what the Word of God says.

We love the Lord and we stand together and fight the good fight of faith.

Raven House Food Distribution Center - 1 Kings 17

Pastor Harvey Swanger and staff on a weekly basis feed numerous individuals and families through Raven House.

Pastor Harvey has also provided and will continue to provide for other food banks and resource centers out of the abundance that God has given us.

Inspired by Candie Gilbert James’ Closet is a clothing resource for those in need.

The Closet will primarily focus on the needs of children in this area.

A secondary goal will be to expand and supply the need for men and women also collaborating with other agencies.

James’ Closet is expected to open in January of 2012

This ministry provides small catering needs for all of our fellowship events.

This ministry is run by Miss Rosa Myers and also Mrs. Cherri Belton who is in the process of starting The Potter's Daughter Catering Service.

This ministry of five men; led by Mr. Terry Gordon who ensures that our media and sound productions are running smoothly for all services and events at CEM.

The Intercessory Prayer Ministry is a vital part of prayer at Cutting Edge Ministries. This team of three gather together covering in prayer lifting the ministry, it's members, our city, country and the world.

2 Timothy 2:15 tells us to present ourselves to God as approved workman who do not need to be ashamed and who correctly handles the word of truth. As an extension campus of Life Christian University (LCU), Cutting Edge Ministries in partnership with LCU are teaching and equipping those who are seeking a deeper understanding of the Word of God. God has given each and every individual a purpose. This resource is an exciting and excellent opportuinty to grow in your personal mission on this earth.
